Warranty

1. Basic warranty

By entering into a purchase-sale transaction, the buyer acquires a product covered by a warranty. The guarantor may be the manufacturer, distributor, importer or direct seller of the products.

The manufacturer of "ZA-PAS" brand knives, i.e. Knives by Pabiś Daniel Pabiś, os. Biadasów I 18, 34-120 Zagórnik, NIP PL5512645197 represented by Daniel Pabiś, hereinafter referred to as the "Guarantor" or "Manufacturer", grants a standard warranty for a period of 24 months for products available in the online store www.zapas-knives.pl

The buyer is obliged to deliver the product to the manufacturer, distributor, importer or seller in order to process the warranty claim. The warranty period for the subject of the order begins on the date of its purchase, i.e. from the date of receipt of the shipment or the date of purchase confirmed by a fiscal receipt. The guarantee covers all possible defects of the subject of the order and materials included in the subject of the order, except for defects and damage caused by the Buyer and defects and damage caused by improper use of the product.

The guarantee applies to unprocessed products, in the event of interference with the product, the buyer immediately loses the right to the guarantee. The guarantee applies to both the knife and the holster. The guarantee does not apply to products that have been used in a manner inconsistent with their intended use or exposed to the influence of atmospheric conditions, in particular very high or very low temperature, changes in air humidity without first protecting the product from the above-mentioned factors or refraining from the influence of these factors on the product. The guarantee does not apply to signs of natural wear and tear. The buyer of the product is obliged to comply with the Method of use described in the product description throughout the warranty period. The guarantee does not apply to products that have signs of non-compliance with the Method of use.

During the warranty period, the Contractor undertakes to remove defects or deliver the subject of the order free from defects, immediately after receiving the complaint protocol from the Ordering Party, but no later than within 10 working days from the date of sending the protocol by the Ordering Party. The complaint protocol is also considered effective if sent by e-mail to the address: knivesbypabis@handmade.int.plv or by post to the address; Nidecka 48, 34-122 Wieprz, Knives by Pabiś. The Contractor is obliged to replace the subject of the order with a new one free from defects in the event of two unsuccessful attempts to remove the defect. At the request of the guarantor, the Buyer is obliged to present proof of purchase.

After repair or in the case of replacement, the Contractor undertakes to deliver it at its own expense, choosing the most advantageous type of delivery for itself (in Europe - postal delivery, in the case of delivery to other continents, the manufacturer guarantees delivery by ship or plane) and risk to the place indicated by the Ordering Party. In the event of failure to meet the deadlines referred to in paragraph. 3 or failure to fulfill the obligation to remove the defect or replace the subject of the order with a defect-free one,

Regardless of the guarantee, the Ordering Party is entitled to a warranty under the principles specified in the Civil Code.

2. Extended warranty - Lifetime blade warranty

If you see a sentence in the description that reads: This particular model is covered by a lifetime blade warranty! - The product is covered by an extended warranty.

The extended warranty applies to the knife blade, which is a part of the product (knife) that has been ground and sharpened. Any damage outside this area does not apply to the extended warranty.

This warranty is granted for life, which means that the warranty liability and the obligation to enforce it belongs to the owner of the brand, now: Daniel Pabiś, indefinitely. In the event of changes in the organizational structure of the company, the Guarantor may become a legal person or organization that holds the right to the "ZA-PAS" Brand

In the event of a break or significant damage to the knife blade, you will receive a new product. The remaining components of the knife are covered by the standard 24-month warranty described above. This warranty provides protection against material and manufacturing defects. If a product under warranty is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one, at our discretion. The warranty covers only original, unaltered and unmodified components. The knife should be used in accordance with its intended use (see definition Knife), heavy field work, i.e. batoning (see definition batoning) should be preceded by a cutting edge space at an angle of no less than 25 degrees per side. The warranty does not apply to products that show signs of failure to comply with the Method of Use (product description).

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, improper care, normal wear and tear or natural discoloration of colors occurring during use.

In the event of a clear breach of the warranty, the customer seeking to enforce it may receive another benefit such as:

Guarantor - entity granting the warranty, here: Daniel Pabiś

Standard warranty duration - 24 months from the date of purchase in a stationary store or upon receipt of the shipment delivered by a courier company

Product - in this case we are talking about any "ZA-PAS" brand knife manufactured by Knives by Pabiś.

Knife - a tool designed for cutting, flaying, chopping, gutting, skinning and ultimately, batoning

Batoning - striking a piece of wood or other safe material on the knife blade based on the material being cut, which is intended to exert momentary, point pressure on the knife blade in order to sink the blade into the material.

The guarantee is considered individually by Daniel Pabiś each time.
