This is our first take on a classic hunting knife. Thanks to its dimensions and materials, it performs well not only in the field but also in everyday use and general outdoor tasks.

1.4116S STEEL BLADE

The knife features a flat-ground blade with a classic profile, making it highly versatile in use. The blade is made from 1.4116S stainless tool steel, offering very good corrosion resistance.

This steel should not be confused with the popular 1.4116 (X50CrMoV15). The steel used in this model contains alloying elements such as vanadium, molybdenum, and nitrogen, allowing it to reach a hardness of 59–61 HRC after heat treatment. In practice, it offers properties comparable to the popular stainless steel Sandvik 14C28N.

The combination of toughness, good edge retention, and ease of sharpening makes it a highly practical choice for everyday-use knives.

AVAILABLE BLADE FINISHES

Satin finish
A blade finish with characteristic lines running in one direction. It gives the blade an elegant, technical look and highlights its geometry.

Each finish may naturally wear over time depending on usage intensity and type of work performed.

HANDLE

The handle is built in a full-tang construction, significantly increasing the overall strength of the knife.

The handle scales are available in two material options:

G10 – a black fiberglass composite resistant to moisture, temperature changes, and most chemicals.
Micarta – a brown composite valued for its natural texture and excellent grip, especially during outdoor use.

The scales are fitted to the knife and secured with stainless steel tubes, ensuring durability and stability during intensive use.

SHEATH

The knife is available with several sheath options:

Kydex sheath
A durable sheath made from ABS material (Kydex type), allowing vertical belt carry thanks to a custom-designed stainless steel mount. The hole pattern also allows mounting a Tek-Lok system (available in our store).

Leather sheath
A classic sheath made from natural cowhide leather, available in brown or black. The thick and rigid construction ensures secure retention of the knife, while the deep blade seating increases safety during carry.

WARRANTY

Our knives are covered by a 24-month warranty. This warranty protects against material and manufacturing defects and applies to both the knife and the sheath or pouch.

If a product covered by the warranty is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it free of charge or replace it with a new one at our discretion. The warranty applies only to original, unaltered, and unmodified items.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, improper maintenance, normal wear, or natural discoloration resulting from use.

USAGE GUIDELINES

Remember! All our knives are very sharp. Handle them with care!

Do not use your knife for tasks outside its intended purpose.
Do not use the knife as a can opener, screwdriver, hammer, chisel, or pry bar.
After contact with salt water, blood, fruit, or other corrosive substances, rinse the knife with running water and dry it thoroughly.
Do not clean the knife with harsh chemicals or in a dishwasher.
If you do not plan to use the knife for an extended period, protect it with a thin layer of maintenance oil.
We recommend storing the knife and sheath clean and dry.
Maintain regular sharpening to keep the knife ready for use.

This is an excellent companion knife for most outdoor chores. It is sturdy, takes a nice edge, and feels very nimble in the hand. The kydex sheath has excellent retention. You get an excellent knife at a very nice price.
